IEC 60502 Standard Three Core Cables
Conductor: Conductor simple de cobre ou aluminio recocido.
Conductor shielding: The conductor shielding shall be non-metallic and shall consist of an extruded semi-conductive compound with a semiconductor strip applied on top of the semiconductor compound. The conductor shield is not required for PVC, EPR/HEPR insulated cables in the 1.8/3KV to 3.6/6KV range.

Three-core cables are designed for power distribution from 3.6/6.6KV to 19/33KV at 50Hz.
