IEC 60502 Standard Three Core Cables

Conductor shielding: The conductor shielding shall be non-metallic and shall consist of an extruded semi-conductive compound with a semiconductor strip applied on top of the semiconductor compound. The conductor shield is not required for PVC, EPR/HEPR insulated cables in the 1.8/3KV to 3.6/6KV range.
Einangrun: 1.8/3KV and 3.6/6KV cable ranges are generally insulated with PVC, but can also be insulated with XLPE, EPR/HEPR.

Application:
Three-core cables are designed for power distribution from 3.6/6.6KV to 19/33KV at 50Hz. They are mainly used in a wide range of applications such as power supply stations, Leiðbeiningar innanhúss, outdoor, buried and in water, as well as for the installation of cables to the industry, distribution stations, and power station cables.
